ok, so I am approaching the end of my masters course and freedom is beckoning ... basically I really want to improve my spoken french, ideally I would really like to be fluent. I don't want to do any part time courses because I don't really care about the written components, I don't want to do exams and there are problems surrounding course accessibility etc etc. I believe that immersion is the best way of picking up a language. Most people in my situation would probably go and find work as an au pair but something tells me that my blind rather scatterbrained self would not do so well as an au pair. So does anyone have any alternatives? I will add that I have a grade A A-level in french which I got in 2005 so I would like to reembark on learning french before I lose it altogether. I am already bilingual in English and Welsh so I am fairly good at picking up new vocabulary etc. So does anyone have any ideas? I'm not really looking for paid work I just want to completely immerse myself in the language for about 3 months or so and I'm trying to come up with a practical viable way of doing this. Thanks
